SSE #11 - Lucas Rousseau (LGF) and Sachin Joshi (LabHC) won the Best Poster Award!
On The January 12, 2024
Lucas Rousseau, PhD student at the Georges Friedel lab, and Sachin Joshi, PhD student at the Hubert Curien lab, were presented the Best Poster award for their presentations during the Poster session.
He presented a poster on the understanding of the femtosecond laser peening phenomenon in a poster entitled "Mechanical consequences of femtosecond laser irradiation of metals". He worked for two months on this subject in collaboration with Johannes Hagemann at the X-FEL facility in Hamburg. He had the opportunity to go to Germany thanks to the Manutech-SLEIGHT mobility grant for researchers.
Sachin Joshi, PhD student at the Hubert Curien lab, presented a poster on "Improving In-Line Holographic Microscopy Reconstruction: Joint Estimation of Calibration Bead Parameters and Zernike Aberration Coefficients in the whole Field of View". He was congratulated for a very dynamic presentation. He is currently working on Digital Holography in the Image, Vision Department of the laboratory. He would like to expand his skills in biomedical optics.
