Lucas ROUSSEAU
A LOOK AT LUCAS' BACKGROUND
After graduating graduate school with honors in 2016, Lucas followed a two-year intensive maths and physics course, at La Martinière Montplaisir in Lyon, to prepare for the engineering school entrance examinations. He was then admitted to Grenoble INP - Phelma engineering school, from which he graduated in 2021 with a specialisation in material science and engineering.
LUCAS' MOTIVATION FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
This thesis takes place in a career plan oriented towards scientific research. The wide variety of the FLAME project, including both theoretical, numerical and experimental tasks offers me a unique opportunity to develop my scientific skills. This will allow me to discover the academic research field and its ins and outs. These 3 years of intensive work will also help me to understand which is the way forward for my career, whether in the academic or industrial research.
