Jean Monnet University has been awarded the “Welcome to France” label by Campus France, highlighting its quality of initiatives to welcome international students.
As an international student enrolled in one of our master, you will be welcomed at the beginning of the year by an international relations officer in either the Faculty of Sciences and Technology or the Faculty of Medicine and participate in the Induction week. This one-week event is a great opportunity to visit the campus, meet your fellow students, meet faculty and discover the city through fun activities.
STUDENTS WELCOME DESK
In a context of strong increase of the fragility of the students and more particularly of the international students welcomed in Saint-Etienne, the Students Welcome Desk (SWD), common to all higher education schools of the Saint-Etienne and Lyon site, participates fully to improve and facilitate the welcoming and integration of the international students.
The SWD welcomes students at the beginning of each academic year and a permanent desk is set at the Espace Info-Jeunes at La Comète, near the city centre, from August till October. The partner institutions, like Jean Monnet University, organise activities all year long.
