Taking care of your health, Research
Minalogic organises its thematic day dedicated to photonics technologies for health
On The November 26, 2020
Photonic technologies, a vector of innovation for the medical sector
MINALOGIC, the global innovation cluster for digital technologies in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, oragnised a 100% remote scientific event dedicated to photonics technologies. All Manutech-SLEIGHT students and researchers were invited to attend the online talks.
Expert and qualified speakers, scientists and industrialists, presented the latest technological advances and applications of photonics in the field of health, with a particular focus on normative aspects and health regulations.
Various members of the Manutech-SLEIGHT consortium spoke about the progress of their research:
Expert and qualified speakers, scientists and industrialists, presented the latest technological advances and applications of photonics in the field of health, with a particular focus on normative aspects and health regulations.
Various members of the Manutech-SLEIGHT consortium spoke about the progress of their research:
- Cyril MAUCLAIR, researcher at the Hubert Curien Lab, with two representatives from Keranova, talked about the evolution of cataract's surgery by advanced photonics technologies
- Virginie DUMAS from the LTDS lab presented the progress on the LASIMP research project which focuses on the texturation of titanium-based dental implants by femtosecond laser (the LASIMP project, in partnership with the SAINBIOSE lab, is funded by the Manutech-SLEIGHT Graduate School - PhD student: Steve PAPA)
- Alain GUIGNANDON, from the SAINBIOSE lab, gave a talk about the use of biophotonics as a new diagnostic tool
- Donata IANDOLO, post-doctoral fellow at the SAINBIOSE lab, presented her work on continuous monitoring of cell biomarkers with bioelectronic sensors
