4 guest speakers will give lecture during our 11th SLEIGHT Science Event

For this 11th edition of the SLEIGHT Science Event, the Manutech-SLEIGHT Graduate School invited 4 internationally renowned scientists to present their work and vision of research.

SESSION A2 - Monday, January 8th 2024 - 10:15 - 12:15
Vincent MOTTO-ROS, researcher at the Institut Lumière Matière (ILM - UCBL, CNRS) will give a lecture on "LIBS imaging: a breakthrough in material and biomedical sciences?".

SESSION B4 - Tuesday, January 9th 2024 - 14:00 - 15:00
Albert STOLOW, Canada Research Chair in Molecular Photonics (University of Ottawa & National Research Council) will talk about “Coherent Nonlinear Raman Microscopy: Labelfree chemical-specific imaging of materials”. His presentation will be live from Ottawa.

SESSION B1 - Tuesday, January 9th 2024 - 09:00 - 11:00
Marie-Emmanuelle COUPRIE, Head of the Insertion and Magnet Group at Synchrotron SOLEIL (CEA, CNRS), will give a presentation on "Free Electron Laser, from its origin to recent developments".

SESSION C1 - Wed., January 10th 2024 - 10:45 - 12:00
Milos BURGER, Associate Research Scientist at the Gérard Mourou Center for Ultrafast Optical Science (University of Michigan, USA) will talk about the "Development of 3-PW laser for high-field science research". He is invited by the MOPERE team of the Hubert Curien lab to collaborate with the lab's researchers.
