A LOOK AT ELIE'S BACKGROUND

Graduated in 2025 from the Télécom Saint-Etienne engineering school with a specialization on Optics and Photonics, I am currently in my first year of a PhD at the Hubert Curien Laboratory. I am working on the conceptualization, fabrication and characterization of magneto-photonic metasurfaces based on a magnetic nanocomposite for the control and the enhancement of their magneto-optical functions.

ELIE'S MOTIVATION FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

In line with my course of study, this project allows me to be part of an interesting and inspiring research topic. Being able to work on simulations and then play an active role in the fabrication and characterization of structures is very rewarding. It allows me to work across various fields of physics and to gain experience in the use of tools and experimental techniques.
Through my thesis, I have the opportunity to gain a deeper insight into the world of research and to take part in various events. That allow me to learn more and strengthen my interest in academic research.
