Incoming mobility - The Hubert Curien Lab welcomes Dr. Andriy Budnyk
On The January 20, 2023
The Manutech-SLEIGHT Graduate School supports the incoming mobility of Dr Andriy Budnyk at the Hubert Curien lab
The Hubert Curien laboratory has the pleasure to welcome Dr. Andriy Budnyk, from the Department of Chemistry at Bilkent University in Ankara. He gave a lecture yesterday January 19th, 2023 on the Operando optical spectroscopy of a composite. He is developing collaborations with the lab for a week, thanks to the support of the Manutech-SLEIGHT Graduate School.
ABSTRACT
Operando methodology realizes the idea of observing a functional material under actual working conditions. The approach has been actively adopted in the field of catalysis because of providing experimental evidence for valuable insights into the exact catalytic mechanism. The real-time spectral acquisition of the ongoing reaction facilitates establishing the structure-activity relationship of the substrate-catalyst species. This information is of paramount importance for optimization of many industrially relevant catalysts as well as for the development of novel materials for energy conversion.
