Powered by eight internationally renowned French laboratories, three economic partners, one Laboratory of Excellence (LabEx) and two technological platforms, the Manutech-SLEIGHT Graduate School develops research projects at the interface of light (optics-photonics, lasers), surface (material sciences and mechanics), image science, machine learning, biology and medicine.
The Manutech-SLEIGHT consortium, leader in the fields of light-surface engineering, hosts over 190 researchers and 100 PhD students implementing multi-scale research projects that tackle societal (energy, security…), health and industry challenges. The Graduate School focuses on weaving links between disciplines, as well as bringing significant scientific and innovation knowledge to three main scientific problems.
The multidisciplinary nature of the research carried out by the consortium also leads to strong high-level international partnerships.
