University Research Schools (EUR), also known as Graduate Schools, are centres of excellence within the French higher education system. They integrate Master’s and PhD programmes with high-level research in specific scientific fields, creating a close connection between education, research, and innovation. Inspired by the internationally recognised Graduate School model, they were established to enhance the global visibility, attractiveness, and competitiveness of French higher education and research.
