Sylvain FOURNIER
A LOOK AT SYLVAIN'S BACKGROUND
Sylvain graduated from INSA Lyon in 2020 with a specialisation in Material Science and Engineering. He chose to follow a PhD course and focus his research on ceramics stereolithography.
SYLVAIN'S MOTIVATION FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
My goal in the FASTMED project is to understand the underlying phenomena involved at each step of the process of ceramic parts fabrication by stereolithography. Getting to know better the physical behaviour of our materials may lead to improvements for printed ceramics parts and especially SLA designed prostheses. My research aims to fulfil requirements for these biomedical devices: mechanical reliability, adaptability and biointegration
