PGML: Eduardo BRANDAO (LabHC) defended his thesis on December 20th
On The December 20, 2023
Eduardo Brandao, former PhD student at the Hubert Curien laboratory, sucessfully defended his thesis!
Eduardo defended his thesis on December 20th. The jury awarded him the title of doctor for his work on the PGML project (Physics Guided Machine Learning). His thesis was co-funded by the Graduate School, as part of the 1st Call for thesis certification.
He was congratulated by the jury and his peers for his methodological work on the modelisation of physics data from the MORPHOSURF project.

The thesis jury was composed of:
He published two scientific articles between 2022 and 2023:
Former MLDM master student at the Jean Monnet University, his work shows how disciplines - Physics, Surface Engineering, Machine Learning - can can collaborate and create interdisciplinary research projects, such as PGML, PIMALEA or PHOTOM.
He will be continuing his research at the Hubert Curien lab, working alongside Rémi Emonet on the PIMALEA project.
Congratulations to him! We wish him the best for his promising career ! :)
