Induction Week 2026: The 2026-2027 academic year is underway!
From August 31, 2026 to September 4, 2026
Last week, the University Jean Monnet of Saint-Etienne (Faculty of Science and Technology and Faculty of Medecine) welcomed French and international master students. The Manutech-SLEIGHT Graduate School team was there!
Throughout the week, the Manutech-SLEIGHT Graduate School, faculty and staff of the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Faculty of Medecine of Jean Monnet University welcomed new French and international master students for the traditional Induction Week.
On Monday, the French and international master students were welcomed by Frédéric HACHE, Associate Director of Faculty of Science and Technology. Then, the students attended the presentation of the Hubert Curien Laboratory by François ROYER (Director), the presentation of the Manutech-SLEIGHT Graduate School and an introduction of the students' respective master's programmes.
On Tuesday, the Health Engineering master students were welcomed by their professors and educational team to discover the details of what awaits them during their academic year. In parallel, a visit of the Musée de La Mine of Saint-Etienne was organized by the staff of the Faculty of Science of Technology for the master students (Masters OIVM and Computer Science).
On Wednesday, the Student Welcome Desk and Ville de Saint-Etienne showed their support to welcome the students properly.
On Friday morning, the iPSRS master students had the opportunity to celebrate the graduate of their fellows.
These first days on campus Manufacture and Campus Santé provided an excellent opportunity to build connections, ask questions and prepare for the months ahead. The University Jean Monnet of Saint-Etienne remains committed to supporting French and international students throughout their academic journey.
The Manutech-SLEIGHT Graduate School wishes all the students a successful, enriching and inspiring academic year!
