AIMA - Advanced Imaging and Material Appearance: Metrology & Modelling
The Advanced Imaging and Material Appearance: Metrology & Modelling - AIMA track focuses on imaging. It encompasses physical principles of image formation, imaging technologies, image analysis, digital image processing, and image reproduction by printing. It also includes the appearance of materials and other specific imaging application such as document security. The aim of the programme is to provide sufficient knowledge and skills to start a career as an engineer or a researcher in these fields.

PREREQUISITES
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree level in Mathematics and have a backround in optics (electromagnetism, geometrical optics, optical instrumentation) and/or software programming (Matlab, Python, etc.).
EMPLOYABILITY
100% of the students find a position in the months just after diploma, as engineers in big or small companies (product manager, optical designer, R&D engineer…). About 35% of the students pursue their studies with a PhD.
