From January 9, 2023 to January 13, 2023
Florence Garrelie, director of the Hubert Curien lab and head of the Manutech-SLEIGHT Graduate School, introduced the SSE9 and the Graduate School's activities
The 9th SLEIGHT Science Event has begun!
200 students and researchers are gathered over the week to discover the 4 guest lecturers
- Aurélien CRUT, from the Institut Lumière Matière lab (UCBL, CNRS) - Course on metal nanoparticules;
- Florence TUPIN, from the LTCI lab of Telecom ParisTech - Course on Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging;
- Olivier MARTIN, from the Nanophotonics & Metrology Laboratory (EPFL) - Course on Plasmonic nanostructures;
- Alessandro RIZZI, from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Milano - Course on vision ans the colour spectrum.
Special sessions dedicated to graduate students and members of the consortium
Master students will participate in the Pitch Session, where they will present a research project (internship or guided project during a special teaching unit). 21 members of the consortium willo present a poster during the poster session, explaining their research project or an outstanding piece of equipment.
At the end of the week, the 3 scientific axes of the Graduate School will present each funded projects and invite special guests to foster interactions between researchers and PhD students.
