SSE #11 - 3 students recognized for their involvement in the Graduate School's life and activities
On The January 12, 2024
A huge thank you to Vanina Amblas, Alexandre Bebon and Marie Traynar for their involvement in the 11th SLEIGHT Science Event and the Graduate School's life.
They were the recipient of the SSE#9 Best Pitch Award last year for their exploration of the optical properties of the stained glass windows in Conques Abbey by Pierre Soulages. They are also active members of the Manutech-SLEIGHT Student Association.
The Graduate School also recognized the involvement of the OPTICA student chapter president: Marie TRAYNAR, PhD student at the Hubert Curien lab co-organized escape game-type activities during the poster session. The student chapter will award the winner in a coming Manutech-SLEIGHT Student Association meeting.
Marie was also a recipient of the Best Pitch Award during the SSE#9 for her presentation on her master thesis subject : "Colloidal photolithography for the fabrication of metasurfaces". She was then an M2 student in the Photonics Engineering master and had the opportunity to get a Manutech-SLEIGHT mobility grant to do her internship at CERN in Switzerland.
