Olivier Beuf got his PhD degree in Physics from Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University in 1998 before joining UC San Francisco for a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship. After a year as an MRI application engineer at SIEMENS Healthcare, he joined the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) as a Junior research scientist in 2001. He has been a senior research scientist since 2011 and the Director of the CREATIS lab since 2015.
MAIN REPONSABILITIES
- 2015-now: Director of the CREATIS lab (CNRS UMR5220, INSERM U1206)
- 2012-now: Leader of work package 2 "Emerging Imaging Techniques" of the Labortory of Excellence - LabEx PRIMES « Physique, Radiobiologie, Imagerie Médicale Et Simulation ».
- 2007-2018: Team leader of « NMR and optics: From measure to biomarker ».
- PI for the equipment project of a high magnetic field preclinical 11.7T MR systems in the CPER 2016-2020.
