ALIZÉE'S MOTIVATION FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

After a university career focused on digital and simulation approaches, I wanted to focus on a thesis topic that would combine digital and experimental approaches.
During my year at MDbat, a company specialised in the development of software for construction, I developed a program to make calculations of wooden structure and the biggest problem encountered was the management of contacts, This is why I wanted to continue studying in this area in order to fill a gap and better understand the mechanics involved.
Moreover, I always liked to learn and transmit, something I could do daily in my former profession, so it is naturally that I am heading towards an academic career, hoping to become a university lecturer and researcher.
