PARTNER LABORATORIES

The Manutech-SLEIGHT Graduate School gathers a consortium of eight renowned laboratories working in the fields of optics, photonics, ultrafast lasers, surface engineering, image science, machine learning, health engineering, and mechanics. Over 190 researchers and 100 doctoral students conduct ambitious interdisciplinary projects within these laboratories .
 

HUBERT CURIEN LABORATORY

The Hubert Curien Laboratory is a joint research unit (UMR 5516, CNRS) of Jean Monnet University Saint-Etienne, the National Scientific Research Centre (CNRS) and the Institut d’Optique Graduate School - IOGS. 240 researchers work here on topics related to optics, photonics, ultrafast lasers and surface engineering, computer science, security and image science.
 

SAINBIOSE LABORATORY

The Santé, Ingénierie, Biologie Saint-Etienne – SAINBIOSE Laboratory (Health, Engineering, Biology) is a joint research unit (U1059, INSERM) of Jean Monnet University, the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM) and Ecole des Mines of Saint-Etienne. It gathers researchers and doctors from the Saint-Etienne University Hospital, working on osteoarticular fragility and venous, arterial and coagulation diseases.

It is renowned for its expertise in magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, X-ray and optics, with related skills in physics, mathematics, computer science and instrumentation.
